OUI RADDICTATE

Getting started

Set up dictation on your phone and in Chrome. Use the email and password from your invite to sign in everywhere. This page is always available — on any device, open app.ouitech.net/start.

1 · Email verification

Joined through an invitation link? This is already done — continue to the phone or Chrome setup below. Signed up on the website? Open the verification email once before signing in (check spam or junk if needed). If RadDictate says verification is still required, use its Resend verification email action.

2 · Phone app works instantly
  1. On your phone's browser, open:

…or point your phone's camera at this code:
QR code for the mobile app
  2. Sign in with your email + password. (Forgot it? Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen.)
  3. Install it so it opens like a real app — either:
    • open the app's Settings tab and tap Install on this device.
    • or Add to Home Screen: Android (Chrome) → ⋮ menu → Add to Home screen; iPhone (Safari) → Share icon → Add to Home Screen.
  4. Allow the microphone: tap the big Record button once — your phone will ask for mic permission, tap Allow. You can discard that first recording; it's just to grant access.

Try it: tap Record and dictate the report the way you'd speak it — findings, then conclusion. Tap FINISH when done. The structured report appears in an editable box — tap in to fix anything before it saves. Full walkthrough (pause/resume, templates, offline queue): mobile guide.

3 · Chrome extension (desktop) for dictating into the HIS

Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, and other Chromium-based browsers.

Install from the Chrome Web Store
  1. On the store page, click Add to Chrome (Edge/Brave may label it Get or similar — if Edge asks to "Allow extensions from other stores", click Allow, since Edge blocks installs from outside its own store by default).
  2. Click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar and pin OUI RadDictate so it stays visible.
  3. Click the OUI icon, scroll down and accept the privacy notice (first time only), then sign in with your email + password.
Manual install (only if the Web Store is blocked on your workstation) Download the extension (.zip)
  1. Unzip the downloaded file to a folder you'll keep (don't delete it — Chrome loads it from there).
  2. In Chrome, open chrome://extensions.
  3. Turn on Developer mode (toggle, top-right).
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
  5. Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin OUI RadDictate.
  6. Click the OUI icon and sign in with your email + password.

Chrome may show a "developer mode extensions" notice on startup — expected for the manual install (Web Store installs don't get it), and manual installs don't update themselves.

4 · Desktop app (OUI Dictate) optional

For dictating outside the browser, straight into any Windows application. A packaged installer is on its way — until then your administrator sets it up for you, so ask your admin if you think you need it. Sign in with the same email + password as everywhere else. The older RadScribe Cloud window it replaces is retired and no longer signs in.

Continue on your other device

Everything installs from this same page — on your PC or phone, open app.ouitech.net/start and sign in with the same email + password. Or send yourself a reminder:

📧 Email me the setup links
Device limit

Your account allows one phone and one Chrome extension. If you switch to a new phone or computer and hit a limit, ask your administrator to reset your devices.

User guides

Step-by-step guides to every button and feature — dictation, templates, history, the phone-as-microphone mode and password safety: ouitech.net/guides.

Password and encrypted history

Your password also unlocks the encryption key for your report history. If you know your current password, change it in Settings so existing history stays readable. You can reset by email without a recovery key and keep using OUI Cloud — the reset restores account access, but the new password cannot unlock previous encrypted cloud history. After you next sign in, OUI Cloud automatically starts fresh encryption and schedules that old cloud history for permanent deletion after about seven days. OUI Cloud does not currently offer a recovery key. Start fresh on the phone app is a fallback when automatic preparation is not offered.
